Black Stork (scientific name: Ciconia nigra) is a large wading bird in the stork family Ciconiidae .its feathers is brightly colored, and it is graceful、agile and alert . The adult bird is1-1.2 meters long and 2-3 kilograms heavy. The mouth is long and stout, besides, his head, neck and feet are also very long, and the mouth and feet are red. The feathers on the body are all black except for the pure white on the chest and abdomen, and can reflect a variety of colors in different angles of light.

Black stork is a migratory bird. Only in Spain as a resident bird. only a few pass through the Strait of Gibraltar to over winter in the west of Africa . The black stork has high ornamental and exhibition value, it has been listed as the national first-grade protected animal.
